Family night out. Found this location when another restaurant was closed.
Excellent food,wine and desserts.
Great German menu.
Each individual had a different dish-eggplant,scallops,chicken
Dessert was banana and caramel with nuts
Iced tea-tropical was terrific
Highly recommend! We will be back
Have been back twice more
Each time the food has been excellent
The chef here is exceptional
Chicken scaloppine, Steak, veal were superb
Ditto the portobello fries -

I really hope this little gem in Calimesa is here to stay. On a last minute date night my hubby and I came here. Decor is super cute, service was good, and the food...
Very, very good!
Started with a verde sangria--so refreshing! We got the lemon chicken and special of the day which was a roasted red pepper shrimp dish. Both were so yummy. The shrimp was like cajun flavor without the spice, which was perfect for my husband since he doesn't do well with spicy food. Other little perks--cucumber water, nice selection of salad dressings (champagne Dijon, for instance), a good beer/wine list and yummy bread. -

Wonderful location and helpful staff. I recently planned a bachelorette party here and the staff were so incredibly accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed to put up the party decor and we had all the pictures we wanted. They even let us use some of their own props! Food came out quickly and was delicious.
The bachelorette had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend such a gem. -

Was definitely a very modern, and yummy place to eat! Portions were nice and the steak and rice soup was awesome! The bathrooms were clean and the staff was really nice! Would highly recommend for nice events!

I have been trying to come here for a while now. My first attempt, they were unfortunately closed, but I found another great restaurant instead. Finally, my family and I came back and The Haus Bistro was open.
The ambiance is classy, but not stuffy or overtly formal. You feel comfortable coming here. We were seated almost immediately and our drinks were brought soon after that.
The food: Their water is usually served with cucumber peels inside. It's not to my taste and you can ask to have it without. We ordered the mac-n-cheese balls and portobello fries to share. The balls were okay. I prefer just creamy mac-n-cheese, but the rest of my table loved them.
The portobello fries were also just okay. The garlic aioli was really the star of the appetizers. Their soup of the day was cream of broccoli with ham. That was incredible. It was so smokey. I'm a fan. We then shared osso buco and paella. I found the paella on the fishy side. The osso buco was great, though. Super moist and tender. Definitely a must try.
The staff: Everybody there was friendly and attentive. They busboy was super on top of clearing our plates and bringing anything we needed. One of the owners, Margarita, came by and we discussed traveling since their menu is quite the hodge podge of cultures.
Also, for those with dietary issues, this place is very accommodating.
Next time I'm in town, I'll have to come back and try more dishes. Especially their deserts. Those look amazing.
